Each year, the Walton Raider Dugout Club hosts a Home Run Derby exclusively for players who are registered to tryout for the upcoming season. This year, the Home Run Derby will be held as a part of Day at the Yard on Sunday, October 27.
The Home Run Derby is just one of the fun activities the Dugout Club has planned for the community on this day. There will be Walton baseball merchandise & concessions for purchase, the launch of Walton Baseball's Silent Auction, and a NEW youth event, Youth Day at The Yard, for grades 3-8. Prospective high school players are required to arrive at 1:00 p.m. and stay through the completion of the Derby at 6:00 p.m. Any conflict that would interfere with a player's participation should be discussed with Coach Amos before Friday, October 18.
All players registered to tryout should register for the Day at The Yard event below by Thursday, October 25. Lunch is included for all Derby participants.
